Who is the Drink Matron?
First off, I’m not a matron. I’m still young, but when I was a bartender, I always felt really matronly, taking care of my customers, offering advice, and becoming the big sister many of them didn’t have. Matron also sounds wise, and although I have a lot to learn, I think I’m pretty wise when it comes to the world of alcohol.
I love all things alcohol, and that includes the history and culture.
I am not an alcoholic, but I do enjoy a drink or two or even six when the time is right.
I hate the taste of gin, but as you’ll learn, I’ll drink it for you. Sparingly.
I like beer. Wait, no, I love beer. And wine. Especially Cabernet Sauvignon. I also really like mixed drinks. I take suggestions.
I don’t know everything, and I won’t pretend to. If I get something wrong or you’d like to fill me in on something you think I should know, please let me know. I like learning. Just please be respectful.
I do not condone underage drinking, binge drinking, or driving while drunk. Please be responsible when drinking alcohol.

I am the Drink Lackey! I like to drink and I happily drink whatever godawful concoctions the Drink Matron puts in front of me. I also make the site look pretty.
